Bought my first "4 pack" today (although the site says it's no longer available..? ) . Really good . To me it's a middle range cider although it's represented as a dry cider. . Great for a change from Mercury Draught ((best everyday quaffer ) and more economic than Henry Weston's ( the latter I 'd drink all the time if I could afford it )...
Pros: pleasant
Cons: fractoion sweet but only just

My hopes weren't too high when I picked this one up as it is so cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Pours a strong, deep yellow with a limited frothy head that dissipates quickly per the cider style.
Aroma and taste are very similar - a great combination of sour, tart, sweet and dry apple flavours mixed together very nicely to produce one of the nicer Farmhouse Dry ciders I have had. The bitter finish is followed by a smooth and pleasant sweet apple flavour.
Given the price attached to this cider, I can't think of too many examples of imported cider anywhere near this value that can stand up to this.
Pros: good mix of dry sour tart sweet & bitter apple, great price, smooth aftertaste, different style to the standard cider
Cons: has 'added sugar and sweeteners'

Crumpton Oaks is one of the cheaper imported ciders available in Australia, but don't let that fool you. It's decidely tasty!
A bit of a woody flavour, decent strength, and a great aftertaste all combine to make an enjoyable drink.
It's great that it comes in cans, although the old green ones were much nicer looking than the current black variety, and I swear it used to taste even better in the green cans!
For the price, you can't go past it. If you can afford something more expensive, go for Keppler's or even Magners. Otherwise, Crumpton Oaks is the best you can get in this price range in Oz.
Pros: mmmm tasty!, cheap
Cons: black cans aren't as nice as the green ones

Drank the first can quite quickly and only noticed at the end the strange aftertaste - like the aftertaste of sweeteners in Diet Pepsi. Looked at the can - "Cider with sugar and sweeteners", it says, and artificial sweeteners by the taste of them. Confirmed with a second can and I'll be bringing the other two back to Dan Murphy's tomorrow.
The sudden massive range of cider on the shelves at Dan Murphys is to be applauded, but could do with some QC to identify the better ones (e.g. all the Westons, especially Old Rosie, Three Oaks, Five Seeds, and bring back Scrumpy Jack in cans, please!) and ditch some of the boutique high pricers. Need a taster, guys?
Pros: i like cider in cans
Cons: contains sweeteners, consequent bitter 'saccharine' aftertaste
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has a nice slightly sweet note on the palette leading to the dry after taste. Works well with a mild - hot curry or a medium - rare steak.
For its price it is what you'd expect. Not the best cider on the market but is good enough for a quiet drink of an afternoon.
Would not be appreciated by the scrumpy style drinkers who prefer a stronger alcohol content and a more intense flavour.
Pros: priced to suit all budgets
Cons: little bit too dry of an after taste

For its price, it's a pretty good product. It's quite dry and while it has a somewhat fruity taste it is a little bland. As far as competitors go, Kepplers 500ml is far better, but is also $40 more a slab. So if you have millions of dollars to spend on UK/Irish cider, go Kepplers but if you're on a bit of a budget this one would get you by. If you drink like i do, it only has 2 standard drinks per can which is a bit of a let down.
Pros: reasonable price, tastes pretty good
Cons: alcohol content is somewhat low, very drying on the palate
